Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Much better after the renovations. Order by QR code. Service was fast. Food was good. I didn't like the sambal on the nasi lemak because it was sweet. Chapati was not so nice as well. Very hard and tough. Susu lambu Ori is nice, just not a fan of the chucks inside the milk. Environment is clean and well lit. Staff are friendly. No issues with them. Parking is very difficult to find."
"First time came here for lunch with friend after meet his client around this area. Restaurant can use scan and order options 1.) Nasi Goreng Kampung delicious. Really hard to find mamak cooked fried rice good taste. The chicken meat also put many and my friend Nasi Goreng pattaya also. satisfied for this 2.) Service ok many people but won’t wait too long for take order 3.) Environment restaurant in corner. Place bigger. Just little be dirty on floor and parking difficult to find.."
"My favourite mamak restaurant. Can have apam, thosai, capati, puri for breakfast. Roti canai , whole day available . Service also good and prompt. Boss/ manager is friendly. Lunch hour can be very crowded especially for nasi kandar. Evening got nan and tandoori. Night got sate which to be ordered from malay stall outside but can eat inside restaurant. Overall good experience here but parking is tough to find during lunch hours"
"Tried out another mamak stall at Mont Kiara today. The satay is nice! Thosai is okay and worth the price. Tandoori chicken is better than Mallar bistro but the mutton is not to my taste and Mallar bistro still serves the best mutton for now (in my personal opinion) Overall, the dining place considered clean, the pricing is good and the food is nice, so we will come back again."
"Spacious and comfy place to spend your time on their delicious food and snacks. Nasi Kandar is good. Tandoori chicken is marvellous. Roti canai is perfect. I always visit this place at night, so that it would feel much cooler and parking would be easier. Plus there is a satay stall outside. Their satay is good. A must visit. Bon Appetit!"
"Spacious, clean and well set up. Service is good, price is reasonable, food is so so only."
"Satay Kajang is a local favorite, and Deen’s does it right - juicy, smoky skewers (chunky chicken, beef & mutton) with a rich, nutty peanut sauce. Served with nasi impit, cucumber & onions, it’s a satisfying classic that brings both taste and nostalgia."
"Sateh - consistent quality with nice gravy. Mee goreng without chillies- not too salty and just nice. Rojak - spicy and delicious. Nicest thing - watching HSBC World Tour (Badminton) match between Axelsen and Li S.F. Second match now at 15-15."
